HUD OIG is reviewing a public housing authority in Texas after receiving complaints about the Authority’s management and oversight.

HUD OIG is reviewing a housing authority in New York.  The authority has more than two dozen housing developments including one that has been mostly vacant for years.  The review objective is to determine whether the authority properly managed the vacant development.

Leonard C Boyle, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that ALICIA GARDNER, 51, of Griswold, waived her right to be indicted and pleaded guilty today before U.S. District Judge Victor A. Bolden in Bridgeport to embezzling money from federally subsidized housing complexes that she had managed.
